Bae Yun Jun surprisingly beat the fourth seed from India, Saina Nehwal


Korean women's singles player Bae Yun Jun surprisingly beat the fourth seed from India, Saina Nehwal in the 2011 China Open Premier Super Series, in Shanghai, China, Wednesday, November 23.

A match that lasted more than an hour was successfully won by Bae Yun Jun that   at this Premier Li Ning China Open Super Series is non seeded status. This victory was achieved through three games, 15-21 24-22 21-15.

In the first set, it appears Saina Nehwal, who in recent times lost the match showed his class as the women's singles world ranking of fourth. Saina Nehwal took the first game easily, 21-15.

Entering the second set, Bae Yun Jun began to fight back by dominating the game at the net mouth. Several times Saina Nehwal could not anticipate opponent’s netting to catch rates in it was inevitable. Almost all of this second round, both players take turns to outperform each other. Bae Yun Jun touch the ending point first, but Saina Nehwal rewarded with three points in a row and only requires one point to finish it game up.
Unfortunately due to careless, Bae Yun Jun force the deuce twice and finally managed to add 3 consecutive point until the final position in the second game 24-22.

In the decider game, Bae Yun Jun play confused badminton and the score up to 12-15. But at this point precisely she control the game in and raced with 9 consecutive point without giving any one additional point for Saina Nehwal.

This defeat to defeat the worst in comparison with the four that followed Saina Nehwal turnement ranging from Yonex Japan Open, Denmark Open Yonex, Yonex Badminton French Open, and the Yonex Sunrise Hong Kong Open 2011.

The Korean failed for ended the journey of the Dannish in first round


Korean men single, Wan Ho Shon, has displayed a stunning performance againt the Dannish, Peter Hoeg Gade seeded 4. But in the end the Korean failed for ended the journey of the Dannish in first round of the 2011 China Open Premier Super Series, at Shanghai, China, on Wednesday, November 23.

Shon provided resistance with his impressive performance against Peter Hoeg Gade, who is currently ranked at number 4 in the Men’s Singles world rankings. The Korean worked really hard to beat the Dannish in three games by taking one hour 22 minutes in the court. But Wan Ho Shon failed to get rid of the veteran player opponents and lost the game closely.

In the first set of the match, the Korean played under his best performance and lost the set with a bad margin 13-21. However, the Korean bounced back in a wonderful style and took the second set to level the match. In the final game, both shuttlers engaged the crowd as they progressed closely until the ending points, when the Dannish remained lucky in taking the game with a tight score.

Again, Shon played confused badminton in the second set of the match, but at the end og that game he took the momentum against the in-form Peter Hoeg Gade. Even, The Dannish maintained pressure on the Korean challenger in the whole game. The Dannish tried to play fast game but lost his control over the bird and lost the game with a tight score 20-22.

In the third games, Peter Hoeg Gade played with a different plan as he moved fast in the court and executed attacking strokes to push the Korean in a defensive position. The Dannish continued his impressive play in this game of the match and finished it up the fight.

The score reached at the climax when both players remained equal in the ending points. Nevertheless, Peter Hoeg Gade remained composed and played smart game in the end and won the set with a tight score of 22-20. This first round contest ended up in three games by a 21-13, 20-22 and 22-20 score on the board with Peter Hoeg Gade as a winner.

China Open Premier Super Series: Tantowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir penetrade into 2nd round in Mix Doubles.


Indonesian mix doubles Tantowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir has penetrated into next round after beat Hirokatsu Hashimoto/Mizuki Fujii of the 2011 Li Ning China Open Premier Super Series, on Wednesday, November 23, in Shanghai, China.

Tantowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir has been playing superb badminton after several day grabbed gold medal at 26th Sea Games in Palembang.

They play dominating in mixed double againt Japanese pair. The Japanese pair completely failed reach the momentum to back level at every game.

The Indonesian pair dictated the pace with a great smash from Tantowi Ahmad and maintained a wonderfull fast move the whole fight. Tantowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir finished the first round contest in to games by working at their best for 24 minutes.

The opening set Indonesian pair lead with 8 smash winner, 5 net winner and 8 unforce error made by Japanese pair. In the second set, Japanese pair change his strategy but again failed to dominated the game as Tantowi Ahmad force with his smashes and smart placing shot by Lilyana. The Indonesia pair took the second games as easily as the first set and won in straight set 21-12 21-11.

The Indonesian mix double opened their campaign against Hirokatsu/Mizuki Fujii in an aggressive and dominating way as he employed jumping smashes from the opening rallies in the first game. Tantowi Ahmad was quicker in finishing off the points by missing no chance to bury the bird into their rival’s court.

The Indonesia pair proved that they has achieved a higher level of skills as their played tremendous badminton against the Japanese pair and won the set with an impressive 21-12 score on the board.

In the following set, Hirokatsu Hashimoto/Mizuki Fujii  played well in the opening points but gradually failed to continue at the same speed. Tantowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir took over from Japanese pair and established a good lead until the break, 11-6. After the break, the Indonesian pair extended their lead by playing fast and positive badminton and won the battle with a 21-11 score.

In second round Tantowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir will face the winner betwenn Japanese pair Shintaro Ikeda/Rioka Shiota or Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter Juhl presented from Denmark.
